The ‘President’s Course’ designed by Mr J Hamilton Stutt, was constructed and launched in 1969. Consisting of 9 holes, but with a variety of tee positions offering 18 different starting points, this challenging course is enjoyed by members and visitors alike and is a valuable addition to all that Ferndown had to offer.

A founder member and past Chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Architects, Mr J Hamilton Stutt had previously worked alongside Mackenzie Ross on such well-known courses as Turnberry – Ailsa Course, and St Mellion.
In September 2015, in recognition of the club’s long association with the Alliss Family, the Course was renamed the Alliss Course.
