Situated on the golden links of the North West coast in Southport, Royal Birkdale is possibly the finest of all courses in England. Royal Birkdale has held more Championship and International events since World War 2 than any other course in the world.
Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club is one of the premier links courses in the World, host to eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including The Women’s Open, The Senior Open, The Amateur Championship and The Walker Cup. Northern hospitality has always been famous and Royal Lytham leads the way. You will be made extremely welcome.
Situated in the heart of England's Golf Coast, Formby Hall Golf & Spa Hotel is one of the finest golf resorts for golf breaks and days in the UK. Our challenging 72-par Championship Old Course, provides the highest standards, with an established venue on the European Seniors Tour, European Challenge Tour and PGA Euro Pro Tour. Our 9-Hole Woodhey Dunes Course is also known for being one of the best in the UK.
Hillside is regarded as probably the finest links golf course not to have hosted the Open Championship. The club has a track record of staging some of the highest profile professional and amateur tournaments including the 1982 PGA Championship (When Tony Jacklin defeated Bernhard Langer in a Play Off) and twice the Amateur and Ladies Amateur Championships. A regular Final Qualifying venue for the Open, Hillside has recently been chosen by the European Tour to host the 2019 British Masters.
A testing championship course with first class facilities, S&A as it is widely and affectionately known, was founded in 1906, part of the great golf boom around the turn of the 20th century. The course is a magnificent test of golf, especially with the sea breeze and profusion of heather and gorse combining to provide a challenging and immensely enjoyable day.
