Alcanada Golf Course:
Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, Club de Golf Alcanada’s 18-hole course opened in 2003. Situated in the northern part of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada is right by the sea, and the 6,499-metre layout blends naturally into the typical Mallorca landscape.
The club takes its name from a nearby island just off the shore, which can be seen from most of the holes, complete with its lighthouse.
Apart from the splendid sea view, players are surrounded by pine and olive groves throughout their round and, even though a young course, Alcanada is already recognized by several well-known golf magazines and golf guides as one of the finest courses in Spain and Europe — including being named the best course in Europe by leading German magazine Golf Journal for the fourth year in a row in 2012.
Son Gual:
Son Gual is a private, family-run members' golf club on 156 hectares of the beautiful Mediterranean landscape. Guests are welcomed warmly but are asked to respect the club's etiquette rules, ensuring the course's superb all-year-round quality.
Son Gual prides itself on catering to all requirements and providing its members and guests with the highest standards, with nothing left to chance. The owners will invite a select number of members to join the 'Son Gual Membership Council ', whose role is to protect the integrity and value of the resort. Membership details are available in person from Son Gual's senior management.
Son Vida:
Golf Son Vida is the most traditional course, the first in Mallorca, and a legend among players from all over Europe.
It is the ideal course for history buffs. For those who enjoyed Severiano's victories, he will have the luxury of playing on a field that world-class players have passed through. In addition, for young golfers looking for a challenge to their technique, its design puts it to the test hole by hole; courses like this are no longer made.
In addition, few golf courses can boast of having held a European Tour event twice (in 1990 and 1994). It was in the first of these events that Severiano Ballesteros made history. The legendary Cantabrian athlete won the Balearic Open in the play-off on the 18th hole, a spectacular par 5 with Dodleg. An incredible feat that is still remembered in the Son Vida Golf Club House.
Son Quint:
Golf Son Quint is the youngest course on the island; it opened in 2007. Its open route invites an aggressive game, an assured enjoyment for beginners and amateurs with glue.
This course dazzles players looking for variety, something a little more special. For example, on the 8th hole, at the route's highest point, you play directly towards the cathedral of Palma. The bunkers are very well-placed to challenge even the most expert golfers.
We recommend that you especially enjoy holes 8 and 17, from where you will enjoy a spectacular view of Palma. Not before daring with the PAR 3 of the 12th hole, they will have to overcome a beautiful front lake. For players with more punch, we recommend holes 2 and 17.
T Golf and Country Club:
In 1978 when famed golf course designer John Harris put the finishing touches on what is now T Golf & Country Club, many called it a masterpiece and his most inspired work.
Today T Golf is one of the oldest, highest-rated, and most popular courses on the island, and after a nearly two-year renovation, it is back to its original splendour.
Lying just 12 km from Palma, T Golf’s wide fairways and large greens are a significant challenge to any level golfer. The 18 holes, par 72, measuring 6.450 meters, run through beautiful rolling hills.
Majestic pines, fifteen lakes, numerous bunkers, and the most extensive greens on the island combine to make this one of the most enjoyable rounds you will ever play. For nature lovers, the flora and fauna on the course make it a pure Mediterranean paradise. Of particular note are the views from the 8th and 16th holes, which are worth a visit alone and give the player an appreciation for the rugged beauty of this course.
Puntiro Golf Course:
Golf Park Majorca Puntrio (18 holes, par 71, 6,027 meters) is the only Jack Nicklaus course in Mallorca, and its extraordinary design makes this course a challenge for golfers of any skill.
Here it all depends on precision and the choice of the right club. The tactical skill of the golfers will be tested down to the last detail.
Golf Park Majorca Puntrio has located 10 km. from the historic centre of Palma and only 14 km. from the Airport and is easily accessible from all points of the island.
