Kings Lynn Golf Course

The Club moved to its present idyllic location in 1975. The course was the first to be designed by the acclaimed Peter Alliss/Dave Thomas partnership and has matured into the magnificent challenge now considered by golfers and golf writers alike to be one of the finest and most scenic inland courses in East Anglia. The 18 hole par 72 tree lined course is challenging because the fairways look narrow. The key to a good round is being straight off the tee. It is never the same from one day to the next as the whirling wind conditions make each hole set up differently from round to round.

Our aim is that members and visitors enjoy a memorable golf experience and whether you are looking for golf membership, a society golf venue or function hire, Kings Lynn Golf Club is the perfect location. We look forward to welcoming you in the near future.

The Royal Cromer Golf Club was founded in 1888 and immediately attained royal status through the patronage of the Prince of Wales, later to become King Edward VII. The club now boasts around 700 members. Golfers from around the world visit in great numbers to sample cliff top golf at its very best.

Sheringham Golf Course

Ranked 75th in the 2022 National Club Golfer Top 100 Courses in England, every year sees us working hard to enhance Members’ and visitors’ enjoyment of our glorious cliff-top location. And, every year, our teams manage to achieve just that. Both on the course and in our relaxed and spacious Clubhouse.

Dating back to 1891, it is hardly surprising Sheringham Golf Club has an interesting history – even less so that we are rightly proud of that history and happy to share it with visitors and members alike. To that end we have a number of written, photographic and other original artefacts on display in the main corridor of the Clubhouse and in our dining room. It is often said, ‘We are drawn from our history’: so these offer an interesting look back at the people and events that have helped shape the Club we treasure today.

Thetford Golf Course

James Braid and Philip Mackenzie Ross helped shape this heathland jewel that winds its way through the pine, oak and heather of the Breckland forest. Visually stimulating and challenging, Thetford offers enjoyment for all golfers. Put simply, it’s a course you must play.

The legacy left by James Braid, Philip Mackenzie Ross and Charles Mayo, in shaping a design across the Breckland heathland over 100 years ago, is surely one they would be proud of today.
The modern course winds its way through a forest of pine, oak and birch, and between heather, gorse and broom. Using the natural land, and respecting our SSSI status, it’s a course in harmony with its forest and heathland surroundings. It visually challenges and stimulates, while delivering a fair golfing test for all.
The par 72 course, at 6,849 yards layout with a slope rating of 134 from the back tees is rated just outside Golf World’s English top 100.
Crisp, firm and dry playing conditions are what to expect from this heathland gem. It means the course is open and playable almost every day of the year.
Golf World’s summary “Make no mistake, it’s a class act” nicely frames what we believe to be one of the best courses in East Anglia.
