Architect Gil Hanse’s skillful redesign incorporated bold bunkering, water on 14 holes and lush South Florida landscaping, yet the compact routing and medium-sized greens contribute to an Old World, New England-style ambience.

 

Without intimidating length, the Red Tiger is especially popular for corporate tournaments and family outings, yet it was sufficiently testing to co-host the LPGA Tour’s 2001 Office Depot Championship, when Grace Park edged defending champion Karrie Webb by one shot.
