Including four signature golf courses – The Dunes Course, The Bay Course, and the 36 hole Hills Course – Costa Navarino has been established as the new luxury golf destination in Greece, offering extensive golf facilities nestled in a wonderful sea and olive grove landscape.
Golf:
Navarino Dunes:
The impressive seaside Dunes Course was designed by former two times US Masters Champion and Ryder Cup captain Bernhard Langer in association with European Golf Design.
The championship course, set in a landscape of diverse topography with spectacular sea and river views, incorporates some links-style features in areas closest to the sea, with tall dunes dividing some of the holes adjacent to the golden beach.
Parts of the course venture into olive and fruit groves, while some holes run along a small river that meanders through the site.
Navarino Bay Course:
Just a few minutes from Navarino Dunes, at the Navarino Bay development, the Bay Course offers an alternative set of challenges and choices in a quite different setting. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, the par 71 course places a greater emphasis on strategic play and positional golf than The Dunes Course.
The Seaside, Canyon, and Grove holes will provide striking contrasts that create a dramatic and memorable golf round.
Navarino Hills Course:
Two new 18-hole golf courses, designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend José Marίa Olazábal, set above the coastline and offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea.
Named as the ‘World’s Best New Golf Development’ at the 2020 World Golf Awards, Navarino Hills is one of Europe’s most eagerly awaited golf developments. One of the two new golf courses at Navarino Hills is home to the first International Olympic Academy Golf Course in the world. Situated over 125 hectares overlooking the historic Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea, the International Olympic Academy Golf Course measures 6,366m in length and opened exclusively for the 5th Messinia Pro-Am which took place from the 24th to the 27th of November 2021.
The second new golf course at Navarino Hills, The Hills Course, play to par 72 and measures 6,280m in length.
