Travelling To France:

With only the English Channel separating Britain and France, the Gallic country is obviously easy to reach. Whether you get across that body of water by plane or ferry is, of course, your decision; either way, you won’t have to wait for long for the chance to tee off on French shores. 
If you choose to travel to France by arriving in a ferry at Calais, you will already have the benefit of being a mere 35 minutes away from two great golf courses at Les Golfs d’Hardelot. These courses are only a couple of kilometres apart, and each has a dedicated clubhouse, bar and restaurant.
You can also fly direct to France from most airports in the UK, Flight times are usually around 1 Hour and 35 Minutes which is spot on for any length of holiday.
Transfers are available from the airport also.

The Lake Course is the brand new second course of the Evian Resort Golf Club located at the Academy, in Evian-les-Bains, France.
Composed of 6 PAR 3, with a total length of 885 meters, it is a real alternative to the 18-hole course that hosts The Amundi Evian Championship every year.
Nestled in an exceptional environment with a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the Alps, it allows beginners and experienced golfers to indulge their passion in less than 1h30.
Designed by architect Dave Sampson and called "The Lake Course", it is technical, with starts for all levels and greens of very high quality.
France - Weather Guide:

The best time to visit France is in spring (April-May), summer (June-August), or autumn (September-October). Spring is pleasant across the country, with fewer crowds and temperatures ranging from 13°C to 20°C.

The north of France, where many of the country’s best golf offerings are located, experiences a similar climate to the south-east of England.
